We hope to see you at the visitation on Easter Sunday (4/1) from 3-5 pm or her Memorial Service on April 2nd @ 11 AM. Both will be held at Morrisette Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, Richmond.
I have had many wonderful times with Doris during my childhood. My cousin, 1st grade teacher, family friend through my life and a wonderful caring person to my mom during her life.
She and Rupert have done so much to help so many that I know she will have a special place in heaven.

Thank you to all of the wonderful family, friends, neighbors and former students who helped us pay tribute to Doris these past few days. We appreciate your attendance, the flowers, the food, the cards, the phone calls and the thoughts and prayers.
Doris was my first grade teacher in the mid-50s. She was always so kind, compassionate and loved all of her little people. She has been in my heart and mind for many years. She will be missed my many, especially by her dear husband, Rupert. I was blessed to have her in my life. Pam Beckwith Samuel
