She was a great lady and we will miss her dearly. My sincere condolences.

Donna was a wonderful and upbeat lady. I enjoyed serving with her on the CSEA Community College Committee and seeing her at CSEA conferences. I will miss her smiling face and dedication to workers and her family.
How lucky are we to have had Donna as a Mother, a Grandmother, and a Friend. Everywhere she went, she always showed kindness to everybody. My favorite memory of her is when she was in the hospital, she and her roomate became friends. She will always be loved by those who knew her. We LOVE you Nonna.
So so many memories....her genuine care for everyone close to her which included me will live forever in my heart. I can only hope to pay her love for life and friends forward. My latest memories...three years ago, after my devastating divorce, I shared a wish to be back in San Jose, without hesitation, Donna offered her home to me...I love her so much for that beautiful gesture of love. AND as late as this March 8th, I expressed the desire to come back to help out, Donna said take care of Holly, my daughter, first. I love her more than words can say. I hope to be half of the love, grace and strength she expressed through out her too short life. Thank you, God for giving us such a beautiful , loving expression of Christ. She definitely demonstrated His grace.
I first met Donna at Oster. She was the school secretary and was always extremely helpful. As my oldest son, who has Asperger's Syndrome, moved into 1st grade, I knew that Donna would always be looking out for him. Especially on rainy days when the sound in the cafeteria at lunch was too much. He ate lunch in the office many times with Mrs. D'Arcy.
The last month has been so tough, Mom, but your memorial allowed me to see how many people you had a positive effect on. You had a positive effect on me and that's something I always took for granted. Everyone who showed up was proof that it was hard work. I will always be sad that Logan won't know you better but I will be happy to tell him about you and how much you loved him.
Donna thought no bad thoughts. Donna spoke no bad, unloving or dishonest words. Donna never did anything dishonorable, unloving or dishonest. "What you saw was what you got." Donna your life was a "Splendid" example of Love in action. John L. D'Arcy
