Kind, thoughtful, fun-loving, devoted and generous...these are all attributes I think of when I think about Dad.  He was an amazing man with so many accomplishments in his career and life yet the most valued achievement that he was proud of was his family...his children, grandchildren and adorable great-grand children. He had a gift of knowing how to make each of us feel special and loved.

Uncle Don was very special to our family.  My mom adored him and told us he was so wonderful he "walked on water". I always loved my visits and phone calls with him and Theresa. He is one of the kindest people I know.  He was always interested in what my family and I were doing.  I will miss him.  Love you Uncle Don,  say hi to mom and dad. Jeni

Having Don Maxwell as a father in law was as special as it gets.  He was always interested in hearing about YOU and how YOU were doing.  He was always there for you.
His kindness and sharp humor I will not soon forget.  I will miss those emails and photos he always took.  He held dear to his heart his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Love by so many, he will be missed.

My grandpa was such a sweet, kind, patient and genuine man. I feel that these are qualities that have been passed down to myself. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for my grandpa. My fondest memories of him were our trips to local museums, nature reserves, and zoos. We would also take frequent trips to feed the ducks at the local parks. I love you grandpa and Rest In Peace.
