Don's passing saddens us. We remember Don-young and handsome-newly married to Anna (Brenda's cousin), enjoying family time at summer picnics in Walnut Creek. Later, from pleasant visits to Martinez and Antioch, we knew him as a hardworking man, devoted to family, congenial host, avid sports fan and bowler. Our thoughts are with you; we offer our sincere condolences. Donal & Brenda Brown
Dad. 3 letters but speaks volumes.Me and Jeff wrestling on the floor when we were little tikes with Dad. One day when I was very little and Dad was working hard on our new home in Antioch, I said "Dad, let's go for a walk?" He immediately dropped what he was doing and said "Let's go!" That was who he was. Me, Jeff and Renee, were lucky. Not everyone gets blessed with such beautiful parents
My family and I are very sadden by the loss of my brother Don. My earliest memory of my brother is when we lived by Ranken Park in Martinez and he walked my brother Jonny Dale and I to the park to play. He was somebody I always looked to not because he was bigger but because of how he led his life and raised his family. I am proud to call him my brother.
I'm so happy that Ryan, Sara and I came and saw you about a week before your passing. I held your hand and said I love you and you said it back. You told me your a good girl and raised a good family. You were always good to me. RIP Love You, Jana
Dad... there are so many great times to mention...but the one’s I loved the most were the summer vacations at Donner Lake and the infamous road trip in the Silverado to Yellowstone National Park. Also the countless Giants and Niner games with tailgate parties at the “Stick” and football Sunday’s at the house. Mikel is so right...We were very blessed to have you as parents. RIP
