This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Donald Ome, 88, born on November 9th, 1932 and passed away on February 20th, 2021. We will remember him forever.
Such fond memories of the Ome's and Katzman's gathering at Linda and Stu's house for Holidays and special occasions! Don's sense of humor, so subtle and entertaining! He will be missed at future get togethers but will live on in the hearts and memories of all of us!
So today’s memory of Dad, and a lifetime favorite, is of moving the furniture in the family room to make space for dancing. He would put on this 78’s (those old, thick and small records) and Mom, Lisa, and I would take turns dancing with him.
Dr. Ome was my first and favorite dentist! He loved tickling the roof of my mouth and would laugh like crazy at my response. One time I needed a root canal. Dr Ome knew I was scared so he actually came across the street to be with me. I loved him and was so sad when he retired. He was one in a million and will be missed terribly.
Dr. Ome was my dentist from the time I was 13 until he retired. I always loved his sense of humor and was quite sad when he retired. I always loved hearing his stories about his family and his funny sense of humor. Rest in peace sweet man.
