We Will Remember Her Always...
On Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 our beloved Domenica Quilici, resident of San Francisco, passed away into the loving arms of God. Born in Berbenno, Italy in 1934. She and her siblings came to California to make a new life and live the American Dream. She settled in San Francisco where she raised her 3 sons Gilbert, Freddy, and Anthony (Tony). She proudly worked at St. Mary’s Hospital for over 30 years, as well as at the Italian American Athletic Club where she met the love of her life, Enzo Quilici. She cherished her time with family and always ensured that anyone who came to visit was not allowed to leave her house with an empty stomach. She enjoyed going to bingo, playing cards, and was quite lucky with the slot machines at the casinos, but most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Domenica's memory lives on through her sons Fred and Tony Lo Giudice, her daughter in-law Joan Lo Giudice; her grandchildren Jason Lo Giudice, Danielle Lo Giudice-Stanley, Jennifer, Sherie and Anthony Lo Giudice; her great-grandchildren Jack, Miles, Samantha, Charlotte Lo Giudice, and Abigail Stanley; and her two stepsons Patrick and Carmelo. She was preceded in death by her son Gilbert Lo Giudice, her daughter in-law Debbie Lo Giudice, and her husband of 30 years, Enzo. Her family takes comfort in knowing that Domenica has joined those that have gone before her. May they rest in peace.
All are welcome to celebrate the life of Domenica at an outdoor Funeral Liturgy Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, CA, on Friday, Dec. 18 at 11:00am. Unfortunately, due to current COVID restrictions, a private burial will be held afterward. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
