I was so sad to hear of Diana’s passing, she was such a kind, loving person with a huge heart and I will miss her forever! My heart breaks for her family and they are in my thoughts and prayers. The world has lost a beautiful soul.
Diana and I served together in Africa at a time when the country was in violent turmoil. It could, at times, be a bit stressful. I would sometimes drop in to the Health Unit and have what I came to call "Diana Time". Her calm demeanor, warm smile and good listening ear was always so relaxing. I loved her like a sister and will miss her for the rest of my days. RIP Friend.
I knew Diana from the quarterly Blankie Days held at John Muir Hospital Concord Campus where we would gather to make quilts for cancer patients. I could always tell when Diana had arrived because her joyful presence touched everyone. I am so sorry for her family and friends to have lost such a beautiful soul.
I had the great pleasure of working with Diana for many years in her capacity as a board member for First Baptist Head Start. Her passion for the children, families, staff, and community shone through in everything she did. I will miss her greatly. My sincere condolences to the family.
I had worked with Diana at Los Medanos College for many years. She was such a positive, friendly, open, generous, caring person. She just made people smile.
I extend my very best to her family during this difficult time.
