I first met Dewayne a few years back when he raced his late Dad's 60 Covette at the Wednesday night drag races at Sonoma Raceway where I am the track announcer.
His debut was a winning one and soon became bitten by the bug.
Dewayne left this world as a true winner and will be greatly missed by all he touched. RIP my dear friend,
