I was only recently connected with Desiree. Upon meeting her I sensed her warmth at a rehearsal dinner for John and Renee's upcoming wedding. The next day at the wedding, I smiled as her and Renee danced so sweetly and joyfully as they celebrated the next beautiful season of Renee's life. It was beauitful to share a sneak peek at the love between a mother and daughter. You will be missed.

Des. I am having a hard time believing you are gone. I was so happy for you when you went to be with your family, you seemed so lonely here.You were such a beautiful person so sweet, so kind, and what a good mom and daughter you were. Poppa Joe adored you. You and I went all over with them. You loved your little Scrappy and he loved you.Miss You..... still trying to believe its true..

I loved Desi so much. She had a beautiful smile and sweet nature. She loved Renee so much and was always so proud of her. From her 1st steps to college and beyond! Every memory I have from the last 40 years Desi is there. She was always so much fun to be with. I don't know that I will ever get used to a world without her in it. We lost a shining star. My heart is broken forever. I miss you
