I met Derek in 1986 at ATU.   We became fast friends.  I had the pleasure of working with him for the next 25 years, first at ATU and then at GCI.  Derek was a good man and he led a good life.  I will miss him.  God speed pal.

I met Derek in 1968. We started our spiritual paths together and opened a vegetarian restaurant.

Derek had an old sedan. A large jar of soy sauce spilled in it. I still remember riding in it surrounded by the scent of soy and his calm, quiet, thoughtful presence.
