You don't know me personally but I'm very sorry for your loss and wanted to reach out to your family in this hard time to share a scripture that I found to be comforting. One of my favorite scriptures is John 11:25 where Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."
While the Bible won't completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises in the Bible you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. If you want help finding more comforting scriptures feel free to contact me.
