Denise was the strongest woman I knew.  Despite everything  going on for her  she always smiled , had a zest for life and did everything she set her mind to.  My biggest respect for Denise really came when she stood in front of a packed Church and officiated her own father’s funeral.  I will never forget  just before the end of service  that her Mom’s flowers fell off.

A spirited choral singer and companion to me at Amherst High School, Denise and I encountered each other again in Boston 's North End in the late 1970s, and were friends ever since. Loved spending time together with Fred and my late husband, Paul. Many good times; many struggling times. All blessed by Denise's gentle, persistent spirit. I miss you, Denise!

Denise was an awesome woman.  Everyone will miss her. Praying for her Fred and Fendi plus her family. Hugs. Gail and Jackie O. Hope to be there  Saturday.
