Words can't express how much we loved you and how much we'll miss you, Rass. You'll always be in our thoughts.
Papa Rass was amazing! He made my grandma glow! They were truly sole mates and all though I wish he would of came into our lives earlier, we are so blessed to have had him at all!! You will be forever remembered!!
Rass hired me on to Rasmussen Land Surveying in 1980. He was not only a blessing then ( I hated my current job at the time) but he remained so and became my mentor. I could always come to him with questions. He taught me integrity and completeness in my work. As he put it, "The chickens will eventually come home to roost!".
I will miss him greatly.
Rass was a gentle soul who treated my Mom with such respect, dignity and love, it's hard to put in to words. I will be forever grateful that Rass became part of our family. Rass was an inspiration to all who knew him. We will all miss him terribly.
My first encounter with Rass was during my first year at MPC. He was a guest speaker at an Engineering Orientation Class explaining the Land Surveying profession. That changed my life. He provided a model for honesty, integrity and professionalism. Very recently we visited over the phone, and he was most supportive about my choice of giving service back to the land surveying profession.
I love you Rass.
Rass was my "Pops", my mentor and best friend. He instilled in me his profound sense of ethics, along with a delightful sense of wonder for the world and a desire for adventure in it. He lived his life just that way. I had come to believe he was indestructible. In his own words he was "durable". And he was that, to the end. I love you Pops! You will be sorely missed by us all!
Grandpa, We love and miss you bunches. Always will.
Rass was a remarkable person, from his logical way of looking at situations and his sense of humor, to his fantastic memory, knowledge, musical ability, and loving ways. He gave me the happiest 8 years of my life. I cannot conceive of a life without him. He was such a joy to be around.
Ross was a caring and strong man with a sense of humor and a heart of gold! He was always smiling and he always cared for others! He lived a long time and had a good life! Remember that the last memory he will never forget is the love he had from us and Grandma "Jackie Galbreath" he will be missed and the good memories will always live on... we all love you and send our prayers Jeff & Tina
Rass was a great, kind and awesome person. For the time that I knew him and all the times I have spent out at the ranch with him, I can kindly say that I thought of him as my grandfather. I will always think of him while eating his favorite food in the world. OREO cookies. Love you Rass. We all love you.
Jack and Brooks send our love and prayers to my grandma
Rass was a great person. I thoroughly enjoyed receiving his letters every Christmas. The perspective, wisdom and history he had to share was so special. I am grateful for him and all he did for my family. I hope to live a long and fulfilling life as he did. You will be missed!
