Dear Friend,
What a unique gentleman. A genius with endless knowledge and the ability to master anything. Your love for animals and deep respect for people gave  those around you a sense of privilege just to know you. I will miss you and forever adore you!

You are on my mind today. Just thinking of funny things you've said and done. What a cutie, a real live big cuddly teddy bear.
My Deany Baby! Miss you.

Wishing I could pick up the phone and call you right now.
Ouch- this hurts.

"I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot.
I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
The function of man is to live, not to exist.
I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time.
Jack London

Today, I feel your presence.  It's as though you are hugging me, hugging the world. It's not the same without you here. I know you ate there / here waiting on the other side. Just thinking of you today, with an overwhelming sense of your presence. I love you and miss you, my friend.
