Aunt Dawn, Rosey, was gardener, hostess, artist extraordinaire! She told me gardening and landscaping was painting with flowers and plants, so it was only natural that after she, and then her hired gardener, weren't able to keep up with the 2(?) acre garden at Kilrudden that she would begin to paint again in watercolors all over the world. Her favorite subject? Flowers of course!
