It has been many years since I have seen David or Sophia, but I remember both of them very well.  I'm so sorry to hear about David's passing and offer my deepest condolences to Sophia and their family.  David was a good guy.  May he rest in peace.

I knew Dave only at LHS, yet feelings well up because of the person he was.  We had some social times outside of school, but mostly interacted at LHS (e.g., Boy Officers).  He was so warm and funny, in a low-key way, and had a way of connecting and creating a sense of comfort and care.  Clearly, that continued his whole life.  My great sympathies to Sherry (remembering you with Dave).

Mr. Thomas meant so much to so many people.  He was a teacher of mine at the Butler School and he is one I will never forget.  He made class fun, and easy to understand.  He always stood out to me as being a teacher who genuinely
loved his job and loved all the kids.  Praying for all of his loved ones during this hard time.

Dear Sherry and Family,
My  deepest sympathy on your loss.  How sad. It feels like yesterday that we spent time together at LHS.   How special that you and David had such a beautiful marriage. May David's memory be eternal.
Joan (Mavrogianis) Tsoukalas
