David was a wonderful, gregarious man, full of energy, passion, and a natural-born teacher. I admired his love of history, loyalty to friends and especially family, his great sense of humor and his tireless efforts in helping to preserve history throughout the country. He is sorely missed and will be long remembered by all of his friends. Rest in Peace, my good friend.
