Dad, it doesn’t feel like your gone. I can just see you walking thru the door with that big silly smile saying “ hey jewls “. You were a wonderful dad who always made me feel so beautiful and loved. I’m hurting a lot but I know that you are laughing and singing with nana and grandpa in heaven. Please watch over me and josh , I know you will. Love you forever <3
We miss you so much already little brother. Your intelligence, your humor, your quick wit. Your huge smile and long and tight hugs. Rest In Peace and have fun with all the Toernes that went before you. I am so grateful for your deep faith. And the faith of those you left behind, way too soon. I love you.
David was the one who hired me as a caller at Entertainment Data, Inc. (EDI), in 1987, before it became Nielsen-EDI. At first big and intimidating, which I realized was a front, became a lovable pussycat after I was there for a while! He was great and funny. Went out to many lunches with him and made us laugh. He was so great to hang out with. He was an old soul in the best kind of way. My heartfelt condolences to all family. Rest in Peace, David. Big Bear hugs.

I’ll find you in the morning sun
And when the night is new
I’ll be looking at the moon
But I’ll be seeing you
My condolences to his family. RIP, David.
David was calm and constant. his contributions to our amazing company were cherished. I'll always remember him as young and casual when he started and watching him grow into a man with a family was a privilege. I'm so sorry for his family's loss. I can't thank you enough for reaching out
