Judge Braithwaite was a wonderful man and an admirable judge who strived for fairness. He will truly be missed.
David was my best friend for over 45 years, and you could not have asked for a better one! His endless generosity and fantastic sense of humor were always welcome. We spent many years watching the Red Sox together including 4 championships. The positive impact he made on many others’ lives is something I can only aspire to. He will forever have a very special place in my heart and mind
I first became friends with David in 4th grade. His quiet demeanor and manner of speaking always made me listen more carefully because I knew a sound analysis of the situation was forthcoming. So many of his classmates benefited from simply being around him. Few people make their mark so clearly among their peers. David is one. Godspeed to you, my friend.
I am so sad to learn about the passing of Cousin David. He was such a gentle, smart, kind man. I'll always remember visiting David and Becky in San Francisco when I was traveling through there. Their kindness and generosity of showing me around the city, while they were both working and in school always sticks with me. Rest in peace, David. Sending my love to Becky, Aidan and Laura
I will truly miss my Cousin David. While our adult lives kept us in other parts of the country when we did get to see each other the ease of our friendship was ever present. He will always be to me my gentle giant cousin who never had an unkind word for anyone and the BEST smile across his face. Love to Becky, Aidan, and Laura may you always be comforted by what a wonderful man he was.
I was lucky to be close friends with David in high school. He had a wonderful, dry wit and an infectious smile that lit up his whole face and brightened our lives. David taught me everything I knew at the time about baseball, pool, and music, and I will never hear Duran Duran without thinking about him. I'm very glad he was a part of my life, and I will always treasure the memories of the times we shared.
I met David at Amherst College in 1987. He was very cool and fun to be around - he must have been a great judge! I visited his family in Falmouth in July, 1987 and met Rebecca then. David and I then traveled to Nantucket Island and spent 3 or 4 nights there with my grandparents and their friends. He was a great addition to the gathering and I recall the trip with fondness.
