To: The Carter Family,
May you find comfort in knowing that you are not alone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We pray that God will continue to strengthen and keep you in this hour of bereavement
David,
I'm gonna miss the donuts, snacks you brought into the office, and the racing up 95 to home in the evenings. The office won't be the same without you. The heavens have a gentle soul. I'll see ya again.
We really miss David in the office. He never denied anyone requesting assistance. Always volunteering to assist when needed and never complaining. He was the calm in a storm. We will miss that grizzly smile. What a great person. I am proud to call him my friend. RIP "D"

DC - Besides my father, you are the sweetest and kindest man I have ever known. I'm so grateful for all the memories and laughter we shared together at VSU. Heaven has truly gained an Angel.

To the Carter family:
Please know that we all loved David. He was a special person with a big heart, to know him, was to love him. His kindness and pleasant vibe will be missed around the office, he embraced us all as if we were his family. RIP David, we miss you.
To the Carter family:
It is difficult to tell you how deeply I feel about David's untimely death. It was a privilege to have known him and I will never forget his mumble talk when he cocked his hat to the side, his thoughtfulness and kindness, but most of all his friendship. RIP Man-David.
David, It was a honor to know and spend time with you. Even crawling out of a tent when It has been raining all night, he always had a smile on his face. May the Great Scoutmaster watch over us all.
To the Carter Family:
As a human being and man, I have met no finer person. David was a workaholic and perfectionist; he would assist staff and then complete his work. He is missed by all.
Nadine,
Reading the tributes above, I wish I had known David. I'm so sorry to have just heard this news. I will pray for peace, comfort and a flood of wonderful memories for you and your children.
Much love,
Sarah Innes
