Always will remember you as my first partner in high school Biology with Mr. Desch. We had a lot of fun disecting the frogs!!  I always knew your love of biology would help you become a very successful physician...  we shared great times in high school. I'm so glad I was able to see you at
last year's reunion! Remember we called Mr. Desch?

Dr. Campen was my Doctor for over 15 years. Probably the best physician I've ever had.He was joyful, smart, would listen but was also to the point. For probably the first time in my life, I actually looked forward to office visits with Dr. Campen. He was far too young to have to leave the profession and it is heartbreaking that he lost his final battle.My sincere condolences to his family.

Dr. Campen was my doctor for 10 years, up until the day he left Kaiser.  Dr. Campen was a true human being. He treated his patients with respect and dignity while fighting his own illness. As former patient I truly respected and trusted Dr. Campen and I am sure the medical community did as well. Rest in Peach Dr. Campen.

David was one of the most inspiring and amazing people I have ever met.  Every time I either was with him, he continued to  inspire me by the way he dealt with his illness.  He was always positive and upbeat.  I do not ever remember him complaining about his situation or feeling sorry for himself.  He always would talk about how proud he was of his family.  He will be missed.
