David Lail was my coworker at dbx, Inc., from 1980 to 1990.  He was a really great guy, smart, talented, knowledgable, and most of all, he had a great heart.  Never an unkind word.   A role model.  I am so sorry for his family.  He died too young, and I know that must be so hard for those who loved him.
