I believe this is the same Dan O'Donnell who taught me System 370 Assembly Language at De Anza College in the early 1980s.  Anyway, his course helped me start a career in Data Processing and Software Engineering. He was a kind and methodical instructor who helped us master a difficult subject. Through teaching his work made a difference in our lives.  His loss is felt by all us.
