I met Damien in Richmond in 2015. He was such a fun, witty, kind, and  intelligent person. As human beings, we are mortal. We are protectors and saviors, but we are also so very vulnerable. I knew a side of Damien that was lovable, but lost. Finding out this news after 2 years is heartbreaking, he deserved so much more. RIP Damien.
