Dale was a good friend, he looked forward to becoming Grandpa Sparky and taking part in parades, events and parties. Dale also liked the beach and (when able) made daily trips to sit, search the waters for whales and dolphins and visit with the people there. Rest in Peace, you are now pain free & under the big top enjoying the circus and parades.

The world has lost a kind and generous man, but not before he enriched the lives of boy, girls, and the "young at heart" as "Grandpa Sparky" and "Professor Checkers". The Marina Lions Club is grateful for the many times he welcomed Marina citizens and others to its fireworks booth. I personally benefited from his kindness and willingness to help others.
