We are truly going to miss your smile and addicting laughter, you were always the life of the party, silly at times but always cracking us up in the canoe. We loved your (Go Go Power Rangers) whenever you yelled that we would kick butt in the canoe.
you were a great friend to all who knew you. there was never a time that you didn't trust me with your life. For someone to paddle with my crew and not know how to swim, you had full trust in all of us on your crew.
I remember the time that we were told that we have to (Huli) flip the canoe over to see how long it took us to get back in the canoe. We had a plan in case we ever (Huli) flipped over in the ocean. you and Gina didn't know how to swim but we all had our jobs in case we did.
You and Gina would grab the canoe and (Huli) flip it back over and the rest of us would get the paddles, life jackets, and buckets, You and Gina would get in the canoe and bail water. Of course, we would be right there in case something went wrong. We had that (Huli) down-packed.
you always had great style when canoeing your hair would always be on point. lol I say that because every time you got out of the boat the 2nd thing you would do was fix your gorgeous hair, the #1 thing you would do was high-five and hug us all because we just won Gold. (Smile) You were always looking good at the regattas. Boy did you have some power in seats #4 and 5. We will always treasure the memories we made with you. You will forever be in our hearts. Love you Cynthia Rivera?
I can see you now sitting with our Lord Jesus Christ telling him all your stories and cracking jokes and smiling with him and your Ohana and your pooch. Rest in Love Cynthia until we meet
again in Heaven. Please watch over your family and friends. We Love you, Cynthia. Rest Easy!!
I met Cynthia in 1976/77, she was so beautiful and such a character. We had an intense on and off relationship that lasted throughout the 80's. I loved her very much back then, we were even engaged for a time, but we were such hot heads. We became friends up until she passed, she was a big part of my life, but she liked it that way. I will always think of her and miss her so much.
Cynthia and I met in the 9TH grade at James Lick we became quick friend and shared many teenage adventures she was my maid of honor and was there for me when my daughter Andrea was born we lost touch for some years but we when we reunited we just seem to continue where we left off I am so great full for the extra year and I will never forget all the good times and laughter we shared
Happy Birthday Little Sis. Thinking about you more today and with a heavy heart. Miss you terribly and wishing you were still here. Remembering you. With much love. Always, Minnie
Happy Birthday Sis. Still hard to think of you as gone. Miss you lots. Raising a shot in your memory. We will see each other again whether shoulder to shoulder or on the other side of the gate. Love you. Jaime
Bank in the day, when I lived amongst the San Jose crowd, Cynthia and I would make the effort to celebrate our birthdays every year. Hers on the 15th and mine being on the 22 of December. We'd go out to dinner, hang out and do stupid stuff no matter what our entanglements were at the time. Even when I moved away we would still call or email to say Happy Birthday. Happy Birthday Cynthia!
