Thank you Conrad for all the wonderful holiday parties. The warmth you showed me and my family will always be treasured.

I am Fran's cousin and can see that Conrad lived a long and happy life.  The theme "Life is Good" says so much about him.  Here are quotes that seem to depict Conrad and how he enjoyed his life with Fran & in general.
"The purpose of our lives is to be happy." - Dalai Lama
"Life isn't about finding yourself; Life is about creating yourself" - George B Shaw

I met Conrad about 4 yrs ago. We shared a love of Hi-Fidelity sound and music reproduction.
I will always remember Conrad as a kind, careing, mild mannered man. Never a harsh word and always
with a positive outlook.
Im  greatful .that we were friends and I  miss him very much. Good bye  my friend.

Dear Fran- Please forgive me for taking this route to respond to your very thoughtful email, rather than my  telephoning you.  I  sometimes get very emotional about losing such a great friend, and decided that this email would be far easier for me to say what I really want to say to you.

I am sure that we both have been blessed having known such a very unique individual as Conrad.  I loved him for his unending wit and humor. I so looked forward to his always entertaining emails.  You know, we had not had a face-to-face conversation in something like 50 years, yet I felt so close to him.  When I think of him, I always have the image of the always- smiling "little red-headed kid" I had as his teacher.. It has been such an honor to be remembered by a former student- especially, one I  so admired, as Conrad.

I loved Conrad for his unending quest for knowledge about electronics.  Conrad always had such an interest in anything about the subject we both loved and shared.

I loved Conrad for his intelligence.  I believe that he was the most intelligent individual I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  You may already know that I encouraged Conrad to pursue recognition by Mensa.- the high IQ Society.  I am just as certain today that he would have easily qualified  for membership.

Thank you so much  for your very thoughtful email telling me of the passing of such a great friend.

My best memories of Conrad are Christmas at the Ponderosa.  Good food, friends, laughter and joking.  Conrad had such a gift of connecting.  He was always so engaging in conversation and so intent on what you were saying, then he’d break out in laughter or some smart ass comment!  These pictures were such a wonderful walk down memory lane, thank you Fran for this memory.

Conrad was someone who left memories and good thoughts wherever he went.   My fondest memories of Conrad are the many Christmas parties that Conrad co-created.   Conrad was always doing everything possible to ensure everyone had an enjoyable time often going above and beyond to make it all come together.   Conrad will be hugely missed.

You were a fun neighbor in Vestal.   I was a older friend of Susie.  I remember sliding down the steep hill under the white pine trees.  Bob and Evelynn had just got a new fridge; so, the cardboard got well used!  Radio controlled airplanes????  I was sad when the family moved to Boulder.  Vestal was a great place to grow up.  Blessing to your remaining family
