I had the pleasure of working with Christine at UMass Lowell. She was a lover of words, a smart, dedicated pro. More than that, she was fun, and funny. She loved her husband and cats and baseball. She loved nice purses, the UMass marching band and a perfectly matched lipstick. She was a lovely, verbal, witty, smart person, and I'm honored to have worked with her.
Chris was a special woman. She was warm, funny, and quick witted. Even in 8th grade, when the rest of us were beyond gawky she was stylish and ready to conquer the world. Her love for her family, friends, and beloved pets was evident. I will miss her encouraging words and beautiful smile. My thoughts are with her family.
Christine I knew throughout school. She was so very graceful in her ways. She was fearless in what she tried to achieve. And was always ready to achieve. Her loss is a shock to me. I remember her in the Color Guard in the Marching Band. Always a sweet and wonderful prerson. My condolences to her family and friends....
I loved working with Chris at the Portsmouth Herald, even when her messy desk sometimes fell over on to mine. She always had an upbeat attitude no matter how much craziness was going on in the newsroom. Her humor helped all of us get through a stressful period of our lives. Sending love and prayers out to her family.
We worked together at the Portsmouth Herald a long time ago. What I loved most about Christine was her rip-roaring humor and sense of fun & adventure. I'm pretty sure, if memory serves, that she sailed on a large sailing vessel for a week, writing and filing stories as she went. And she loved Hello Kitty, and her cats and husband John. To her family: I'm so sorry for this loss too young.
