Charles and I have been more like brothers than cousins, sharing many good times together. I will miss him very much.
Charles taught me many things that I have treasured through life. He taught me how to play Chess and gave me my interest in chemistry and a fledgling interest in electronics. I remember hiking with him and our parents when we were young and beginning my enjoyment of t
the great outdoors. One of our big adult adventures was going to see Aunt Evelyn in Alabama when she needed to know someone cared. He was always fun to talk with and visit. We enjoyed how he would visit with my wife and I after we married to evaluate this idea of being married. We always felt we had some small part in his marrying Harriett and becoming the wonderful husband and father.
