Hard to think of someone so full of life, one of the "good guys" no longer here. He will be missed by many....but we'll never forget.
Linda and Lew
May the good memories bring you comfort. I met Charles in the community and we shared our love of Cooking, Red Sox and travels especially cruising. I gave him tips on how to travel better.
I am humbled to attend his Celebration Of Life on Saturday and lunch in his honor.
Charlie was destined for California - the weather, the activity, the beauty of nature - all brought delight to his existence. Truth be told though, no matter where Charlie went, he brought delight to everyone around him. I knew him as a trusted friend, kind, compassionate, loyal and a great listener. He remains as one of my dearest friends - a rare treasure indeed! Always in my heart.
I have fond memories of playing softball with Charlie in the Westinghouse softball league. Charlie was always upbeat about the game and time together regardless of whether we won or lost. I miss you already buddy! Scott
Charlie was playful with the kids. I laugh when I remember Charlie teaching our Charlie “show and tell”; chew your food and open your mouth. You made the world a better place, my friend. Miss you! Julie
I met Charlie at Westinghouse when he worked in the Materials Engineering group. As others have commented, Charlie was always upbeat, positive, and just plain fun to be around. Over the years we played many softball games in the Westinghouse league. Charlie & Carol met at Westinghouse, and the two were meant for one another. Rest in peace my friend. Russ
I also met Charlie at Westinghouse. I enjoyed hanging out with him endlessly. When he met Carol I was very happy for them. I believe he was one of the most excellent guys ever put on earth. I am genuinely sorry for Carol and his children, and grandchildren.
Sincerely, Phyllis Stupek
