Carolyn hit it off with my mother-in-law Shirley Kornelis. They met at First Pres about 30 years ago. For several years, Carolyn would visit Shirley in Lake Oswego, OR and they would go berry picking. Carolyn was always interested in our family and would ask about us. She was an example of showing God's grace to people.
