Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of grief. My prayer is that a measure of comfort may be drawn from the words found at 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4,...”Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.” What hope & comfort can we have? Her picture tells of her wonderful personality. Carolyn had wit like no other. She was one of the most self educated people I have known. I am missing my bridge sister and sharing bourbon slushes that she introduced to the group. I look forward to being reunited with her around a heavenly bridge table for some card playing but mostly talking.
Carolyn was a beautiful lady inside and out and always has been. She fought the good fight, she finished the race and she kept the faith, To her family, we send our love and prayers. May God be with all of you during this difficult time.

Please accept my sincere condolences and encouragement from the scriptures. “God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress“. So no matter what may happens around us God is a strength we can count on during difficult times (Psalms 46:1-2).
What a blessing it was to spend a few minutes with my cousin,Carolyn just a few days before she passed into glory. We were able to share stories of our children and grandchildren. She was a woman of great strength and courage during her entire life. I regret that I was out of the country the week of her funeral but my thoughts and prayers will continue to be with her dear family.
