As an extraordinary daughter, dedicated teacher, strong person of faith, tireless servant of Christ, devoted friend, & much more, Caroline's joy lives in all who knew her before her death and all who have come to know her since her passing. She's more alive than ever!!
Dear Caroline, You made this world a better place just being in it. Your laughter, your sense of humor, your service to God and the community - you touched so many lives and gifted us with your love. We will miss seeing your beautiful face, but you will always be in our hearts and will always be loved.
I'm sad knowing that you are no longer here making this world a better place. You helped me raise my children at difficult times in their development, laughed the whole time reminding me that they are beautiful children despite their behavior. Losing you will be felt profoundly forever. No one can take your place. Love you always.
To the family of Caroline, I had the opportunity to visit her in the classroom as a school board member. I knew from the moment I stepped into her classroom, I was in a special place. Each year, I came back to see what new grant she won, new song she was teaching the kids and gain her feedback on what we needed to do better with Norfolk Pre-K. I will miss her deeply. Today, October 17, 2019 would have been Caroline's 52nd birthday, and although her physical presence is not here, her spirit certainly is. Not a day passes without bringing wonderful, funny and joyful memories of the 50+ years we had together on this earth. To honor her, I will try to start sharing her many stories.
Today, December 31, 2019 marks the 2nd anniversary of our precious daughter's life in heaven with her Savior and Lord. She is with me every single day and I know I will see her again.
Today would have been Caroline’s 56 birthday… she is loved and missed by so many on this earth that words cannot begin to express the depth of our loss. As her mother, I know she now resides with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, which is a comfort for my broken and grieving heart.??
No matter how many birthdays our precious Caroline misses here on earth, we know she is celebrating them in her eternal home, heaven. Our lives will never be the same without her presence here, but our bonds of love are constant. ????????10-17-2026
