Carol was a dear friend, colleague, and mentor to me in my early career as a photojournalist at the Hayward Daily Review. She worked at UPI in the early 1980s covering news and sports -- not a simple feat for a women during that time period. She is missed and we will always love her. Victoria Sheridan
