I came across this today. What a beautiful and generous woman she was. Because of her, I always give out big size candy bars on Halloween. That has been my Carol Groten tribute each halloween. I appreciated her invitations to the Groten family meals when growing up, and her chocolate chip bars! Thank you Mrs. Groten.
