I first met Carl Windell in 1984. We became family and friends for the ensuing 30 years. Carl was kind, generous, thoughtful, and a straight shooter to a fault. While Carl espoused a matter-of-fact approach to all issues in life, he had a wit and a great sense of humor. Carl will be missed sorely by all who ever knew him. I certainly miss Carl and cherish my memory of him. Ramin
