Memorial Tributes
I will never forget “Bumpa” (sp). I remember rollerblading with him, Han’s and Anna. Bumpa was skating very fast and skating backwards, he was about 80 or 81 at the time – very smooth and fluid. It was obvious that he had spent a lot of time on the ice. We will miss Bumpa!
About 15 years ago, we had several trees cut down in our yard. The tree surgeons sliced them into logs, and we rented a wood splitter to make them into firewood. Hans and Mr. Larsen (Carl) came over to help. After two hours of very hard work, I was exhausted, but Carl was barely winded, which was shocking because he was in his mid 70's at the time. We will miss you!
