Bruce was a real gentleman.
I got to know him at CCGC and enjoyed every conversation I had with him.
He will be missed.

Bruce was a great person. I only knew him for a little over a year since I have been working at CCGC. We were coworkers, golf partners and most important friends. Bruce will be missed by all who truely knew him.

Little did we know many years ago that a trip to Smithfield would lead to a lasting friendship. Bruce was a generous and loving person who contributed and touched ours and so many peoples lives, and the community. He will always be a part of our family who we will love and miss greatly.

Yesterday we celebrated Bruce's life.  As I think of Bruce and our friendship, it is so hard to define in words.  What is a friend?  I mulled over many definitions of what described our friendship. Way too many came to mind. Si I will just say, to me, the definition of a good friend can be summed up in two words, Bruce Cobb.  I sure will miss you Bruce. It was truly an honor and privilege to be your friend. I will really miss the fun times we had together both on and off the golf course.  So until we tee them up again, hit 'em straight and have fun.  I sure hope God's not talking in your back swing.
