So much love for Bridgit and the Hutton Family.
My favorite memory of Bridgit that shows her sense of humor is when she caught Hannah, Chloe and I dipping goldfish in peanut butter and she said “have you guys been poking smot?”
Bridgit was our son’s beloved 4th grade teacher in 2021. She helped him after a very hard year of the pandemic, which had taken its toll on our son emotionally and academically. He loved every day with Ms. Hutton. Our son had never really come home happy and at ease the way he did that year. Our son also attended the summer camp that year with Ms Hutton and during the camp day on a Boston Harbor Island, he had accidentally fractured his foot. Ms. Hutton carried him across the entire island to meet the rescue boat. I could not believe Bridgit was strong enough since our son was pretty big. She never left his side that day. Ms. Hutton was the most influential teacher our son has had to this date. He is now in 8th grade. No one will compare to her. We are forever grateful and will never forget Ms. Hutton.
