Ann E, Brenda's wonderful friend in Rottingdean, wrote to me today with a picture of the Bluebells blooming for Brenda's birthday today, on the Ridgeway  

Today is the anniversary of Brenda's death.  A beautiful plant, sent to us by one of her Boston friends, has grown even more gorgeous over the past year  and is thriving .

We miss Brenda very much.  Her wonderful sense of humour, and all the good times we had, and her wisdom.
