Mr. Collins & Elaine, Sending you hugs during this difficult time. Mrs. Collins, Bev, as my mother would refer to her, will always be remembered by her smile. I cannot think of a time that it was not adorning her face. She is fondly remembered and will be greatly missed.
Wishing you peace during this time of sorrow.
Donna (Gaul) Kerr
Dear Mr. Collins and Elaine,
Elaine and I crossed paths sometime ago, she’s witty fun and kind. I’m betting your Mrs. was a wonderful mom and wife to have.
Warmly Donna Sparadeo
Aunt Bev was a kind gentle soul. She was always whistling a tune and always had a positive attitude.
I so enjoyed our visits over the years as a young girl and teen and then motherhood.
Aunt Bev and Uncle Charlie loved good food and wanted to make sure you had plenty.
She was a beautiful woman and will be missed by so many.
I remember during the hot summers in Avon in the 80’s your mom would take us to the public pool in Brockton to swim. It was such a treat for us as kids. Then we’d come back to your house and she’d fix us chicken ala king for lunch! Clear memory of this. She was always so sweet and welcoming. I’m blessed with such fond memories of time with your mum.
She was a beautiful elegant lady that will always be one of my favourite Americans. Rest easy Aunt Bev. Love you uncle Charlie and cousin Elaine
When we were kids we would play inside that fir tree on the corner of your property. One day, Darlene Merlo climbed so high that Bev had to come out to help her down. It was terrifying because we were all 3 feet tall and she was 5 feet up... Bev was so casual about it, she must have had a giggle after. Bev was always genuine and positive with me. I always liked talking with her because she listened and showed interest. I will miss my friend Mrs. Collins.
Heaven has added another angel. It has saddened me so much to hear of Aunt Bev’s passing. She was someone that I highly respected and I was so blessed in life to have been touched by her. When I was 17, Aunt Bev and Uncle Charlie took me into their home for a summer and treated me like I was their own. Aunt Bev kept me entertained and was my mentor all summer while Uncle Charlie made me work and cooked the best steak you could ask for lol. She always had beautiful smile and kind words for everyone. She truly was an extraordinary woman, beautiful inside and out! My heartfelt condolences to Elaine and Uncle Charlie. May her beautiful memories help fill the void in your lives. Love and prayers to you both!
