I miss Bessie so!  Such a force for good in my life and as James Jr says, so many wonderful teachings and words of wisdom.  And I loved hearing how proud she was of her family - goodness, she loved you all so.  And having met many of you at her fabulous 100th birthday party, no wonder!!!  Kate

I remember stopping by to say hello and share some memories with her.  I called before my visit, and she did not answer.  Don answered his phone and told me they were home.  During the visit, Don stated I don't know why moma didn't answer her phone, she must have "forgot" to carry it with her when she left the room. Her response was  "keep on living, just keep on living".

It's been a pleasure having you as my mother-in-law . Your love for life has been an inspiration to me.  You taught your son, my husband a lot about loving and helping others .  You lived your life with joy and happiness for 101 years.  Be Bless
