Not having Aunt Bernadine in my life has left a hole in my heart.  She always a smile and warm hug for me.  She was the historian for the Phillipsen family and a great story teller.

I remember how excited we were whenever  Bud and Bernie were home for a visit from their many postings around the world.  I loved to hear her stories, and her sharp wit and kind nature were an inspiration
