I have heard of the wonderful ministry that Sr. Bernadette shared with the poor in Asia. Her reputation for professional medical service and compassionate love for others was her hallmark. May She rest in peace among the community of saints buried at Maryknoll, New York.

You were an inspiration to us all through your faith, your hard work, and your spirit which will not be forgotten.

My wife, Helen and I had the great pleasure of knowing Sr. Bernadette. Sister looked after Helen's aunt Sr.  Xavier Marie while they both at the Mother House. Sr. Bernadette was a very kind and patient person. May she be in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ this day.
