Our deepest sympathy to the Carrol family, during this time of loss. What I remember about Gay was that he was a good man, husband and father and from a kids memory a larger than life man. Our parents stayed in contact for years which is just a reminder of how life was better during their lives than ours. Neighbors actually got to know each other not so much these days.
