Chef Benito fed the masses wherever he went! His quiet position in the back of the band on stand up bass let him slip in & out, refilling a glass here (w/a wee dram) or loading a plate w/a wonderful stew from his endless recipes. A thoughtful, loving bear of a man w/a good soul.
We'll think of him often w/a smile as we grieve for Suzi's loss of her partner in decades of adventures. ??

I am just now learning of Ben's passing. My deepest condolences go out to Suzi. I always enjoyed chatting with Ben and enjoyed his cooking on occasion, joining Irish sessions at Suzi's Woollies, and the Galways Days Irish festivals. May he rest in peace. Hope to see you sometime if you are in the NW, Suzi. I am in wine country, Walla Walla. Hugs
