The funeral for Barbara Louise Robinson will be at 10 A.M. On Saturday, August 22 at the Apostolic Faith Church in Medford. The reverend John Baros will officiate the service. She died on August 10, 2020.
She was born on August 6, 1927 to James Asher & Ruth Neff of Medford. She married Raymond Earl Robinson on June 20, 1946. She lived in the Rogue Valley all of her life.
She graduated from Medford senior high school in 1946. She managed Robinson Carpet Service from 1965 to 1986.
She was a long-time member of the Apostolic Faith church. She was in the church orchestra for 65 years and in the choir almost 60 years. She also went on visitations for many years, holding church services at nursing homes & jails in the valley, Klamath Falls, and Yreka.
She loved her family and enjoyed taking them on trips to the lakes and beach. She had many friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Spakousky, Medford; son Dennis Robinson, Reedsport; sisters Betty Comm and Shirley Wastland; brothers Stanley and Raymond Neff, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Robinson, a brother Leroy Neff and a sister Joan Millard.
One of my most vivid memories with aunt Barb took place when I was farmed out to her home...She took such care in preparing me for my kindergarten graduation.
I remember sitting on her pink bathroom counter & looking into her eyes as she curled my hair. She had a way of making me feel accepted and valued.
My Aunt Barb was an amazing and Godly woman. She was always so kind and generous. My kids called her Auntie Grandma and loved her so much. I am thankful she is in Heaven with Jesus. She made her goal.
