My condolences for the loss of your dear loved one.  In this time of grief, the Bible assures us: 'Almighty God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.' (Psalm 34:18) Yes, more than anything else, a relationship with God can truly help in coping during this time of grief.
