I spent a good deal of time with Barbara as one of her companions between August 2017 and the time she passed in January of this year.  She became a dear friend and teacher. Together we stood in awe of the natural world while immersed in the exquisite day to day beauty of Block Island.  We shared laughter and gratitude for life’s many gifts. Particularity the gift of love.
