My Aunt Barbara was an inspirational person who loved her job and her patients.  She battled cancer with a daily positive attitude with no complaints.  She maintained her faith, positive attitude, and sense of humor until the very end.  At the very end, Barbara expressed her desire for her friends and family to have a drink in her honor in an effort to celebrate her life.  To honor one of Barbara's last wishes, her sister Nancy Kelly, her brother Brian Kelly, and her nephew Brian Kelly, will be sponsoring a happy hour in Barbara's honor.  Details to be provided at the wake from 2 to 4PM on Sunday at Leahy's funeral home, as the details are being worked out in light of Covid-19.   All friends and family who attend the wake on Sunday are welcome to attend and celebrate Barbara's life and honor her memory.  Feel free to share your memories of Barbara, and please celebrate her life, as that was her desire.

Thank you for being so kind to your patients. You were always a joy to see behind the desk at night. I will always remember your smile. God bless you. Fly with the angels now .
